My name is Allie Nevius and I am so excited to be a part of your child’s second grade class this year. It will be a year full of fun, learning, and new experiences for all of us and I can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store for us! As a new(ish) face at Glen Acres Elementary School, I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
- I graduated from Purdue University in 2016 in Elementary Education
- I have an older sister who lives in Fowler and has given me three beautiful nieces (ages 7, 5, & 3) and a younger
brother graduated from Purdue University, as well.
- I was born and raised in southern California, however my family decided to move to Lafayette when I was in the eighth grade.
- In my free time I like to be outdoors, read, and spend time with my family.
- I am a CASA for Tippecanoe County Child Services.
- I spent a summer teaching English in a rural village school on the coast of Tanzania.
- I am excited to change my last name this November. When we return from Thanksgiving break, I will be Mrs. Noble!
